Outstanding Sports Injury Symposium

Jun 6, 2013 | Blog

This past weekend I was able to be with over 200 Athletic Trainers, Physicians, Physical Therapists and other healthcare providers learning about the lower extremity & a concussion update. The speakers were outstanding, including Dr. Jeffrey Guy, Team Orthopedist for the University of South Carolina Gamecocks speaking on traumatic injuries to the knee. Another highlight was 14 Orthopedists sitting down in small groups with participants to discuss lower extremity pathologies, performing their examinations, sharing “pearls” and how they manage their patients. Every opportunity to learn is valuable.
