Coaching & Stress: Corky Rogers

The stress of coaching at any level is amazing and so it was interesting to hear of Bolles Coach Corky Rogers undergoing emergency heart surgery to replace seven blocked arteries. Currently he’s recovering well and we wish him all the best. Stories abound of his time in the Hospital being his normal self and he was glad to get home to get some peace & quiet. I had the privelege to serve as Athletic Trainer for the Bolles program for two years and it was a great experience to be with a coaching legend. I have been most fortunate to work with a number of “legends” and to have those experiences. Life provides many opportunities for which we should each be most grateful.
